How to make a snowflake

Step 1: Fold a standard 8x11 sheet of blank paper in half. Then turn the paper and fold it in half again.

Step 2: Cut out the edge of the snowflake by cutting away excess from the unfolded side of the paper. Remember you can make it any shape you like!

Step 3: Begin cutting away pieces of the inside of the snowflake. You can cut part of the folded sides away too, just be sure to leave some on the folded sides so the flake will stay in one piece.

Step 4: Continue cutting away pieces of the inside of the snowflake. Don't stress too much about pattern though because the flakes always turn out prettier than you thought they would be. And remember... no two snowflakes are the same but they are all beautiful!

Step 5: Once you have cut away all the pieces you want to, just unfold the paper to reveal your newly created snowflake.

Step 6: The last step is to tie a string to the snowflake and hang it from your ceiling to turn any room in your house into a 'Winter Wonderland'.
